My jeans were starting to get loose. I had lots of energy. I LOVED it.<br /><br />Just the other day I noticed that my jeans were getting tighter. I definitely did the whole "I just washed and dried them so they must have shrunk" excuse. I didn't want to believe that I had put the weight back on.<br /><br />Well, I finally weighed myself... and my fear became a reality. I have put back on 9 pounds. Yes, I am back up to 147. The scale is going in the wrong direction considering I am getting married in 3 months.<br /><br />It was really hard to write this post today. I remember feeling SO proud of losing the weight, and now that is taken away with the pounds I have put on. <br /><br />I get married in 103 days guys. I need to get serious about taking care of myself. <br /><br />I want to feel sexy for my hubby on our wedding day/ night/ honeymoon. Scratch that. I ate really well today. I had a salad for lunch (with cucumbers, carrots, broccoli, hard boiled egg, lettuce, and LIGHT dressing. It was delish and filled me up quite nicely. <br /><br />Then, for dinner, I had fruit salad and half of a quesadilla. It was really small so it was not much cheese. I had lots of fruit though.<br /><br />I am still addicted to Diet Coke. Is it really THAT bad for me!? Ugh... that will be a hard habit to break. <br /><br />I am going to start something new on Fridays that I think a lot of people will like. I am going to call it Fast Food Fridays. Then, we can all learn that if you HAVE to go to a fast food restaurant you can eat within reason. I have been working a lot extra (which I have no problem with), so that has not left me much time for exercise. I have been VERY good about eating though.<br /><br />Everyday for lunch I eat a salad with lots of veggies on it. It usually consists of carrots, broccoli, hard boiled egg, cucumbers, sometimes celery, a little bit of cheese, and since I don't like whole tomatoes, I put salsa on it. Then I top it with some ranch. <br /><br />I am going to start taking the stairs down to the cafe instead of the elevator. I work on the 4th floor, so its not like its asking a lot of me. Plus, it gives me just that little bit of exercise. Good idea, no?<br /><br />Well, there are exactly 24 weeks until our rehearsal dinner. Seems like plenty of time, but there is so much I want to accomplish from now until then. It was a 30 minute run/walk so I am pleased. I just figured that that is a good way to tone my legs (my BIGGEST problem area). <br /><br />So far today, I have eaten:<br /><br />Breakfast: 2 hard boiled eggs (just the egg whites)<br /> Mini Wheats (dry, about 3/4 of a serving)<br />Snack: Orange<br />Lunch: TBD<br />Dinner: TBD<br /><br />I intend on staying on this healthy path. I am determined to get these last few pounds off! :) I can feel my legs tightening as we speak.
